CIO-PME is a consultancy  and services company whose main activity is to provide companies with a timeshare IT department. It also offers a number of specialised services in the fields of IT and multimedia as well as IT training to support and advise businesses.

CIO-PME is aimed at:

  • Small and medium-sized businesses, whatever their legal status 
  • Business owners, the self-employed, cities and towns, IT managers, training centres, etc.
  • All sectors (research and consultancy, industry, commerce, liberal professions, official bodies, administrations, education and training establishments, leisure, etc.)
  • Growing companies, companies being set up, startups,…
  • ...

CIO-PME actively seeks to contribute to the development of companies located in the Walloon region, in the Brussels region, in the north of France and the Paris region, in particular by using information and communication technologies as a driver of growth.

A little history

It was on July 2, 2012 that Alain Sayez decided to launch the CIO-PME project, an innovative concept in Belgian SMEs in terms of IT: timeshare IT management. CIO-PME offers to become the long-term IT manager (CIO) of SMEs of all sizes, without the constraints of a permanent commitment, in the form of a service contract, for a few hours or a few days a month.

Capable of developing a strategic vision while being operational in the field, CIO-PME acts as a genuine IT right hand to the company’s manager, allowing them to focus on their core business.

CIO-PME defines the IT strategy, optimises the information system, monitors IT contracts, draws up specifications, coordinates the work of service providers or internal IT staff, manages IT projects and helps choose IT solutions in complete independence from IT suppliers and service providers.

In 2017, CIO-PME decided to grow, hiring a new IT director for SMEs in March of that year.

In 2019, CIO-PME continued its evolution and hired an additional IT director.

In 2022, CIO-PME celebrated 10 years in business. Ten years rich in rewarding encounters and exciting projects.

CIO-PME received the Mercure innovation prize in 2012.
